A typical day
For cats, I’ll bring out the wand toy, a laser pointer if it’s dark enough, or whatever toys they enjoy most. Dogs will get long, leisurely walks with plenty of time to explore, plus a game of fetch in the backyard if available. And of course, treats and cuddles, if they’re in the mood.

Pet care experience
I’m a lifelong cat mom and proud pet parent to two cats. While I grew up with a dog and often dogsit my sister’s husky, my true expertise is with felines. I have hands-on experience with cats of all ages from playful kittens to wise seniors including administering medications ranging from pills to syringe injections. I’m also an advanced level laser toy strategist (the cats never win… or maybe they always do). Highly detail oriented and deeply passionate about animal care, I even have a bonus resource — my best friend has veterinary training and is just a phone call away.
