Pet care experience

Lifelong Pet Lover & Trusted Sitter

I've cared for pets my entire life, having grown up with dogs, cats, lizards, and even birds. Since I was born in '98, animals have always been part of my world. I've watched many friends' and family members' pets over the years and have trained all my own puppies in basics like sit, lay down, leash manners, social behavior, and potty training. I'm comfortable with a wide range of personalities and love giving every pet the same patienceC structure, and affection I grew up with.

He did a wonderful job taking care of my dog and cat while I was away. Great communication and provided lots of pictures. Would definitely choose him to board my pets again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to take care of their pet!

Alex is amazing with my two dogs, a husky and rottweiler, and they are always beyond excited to see him. He is trustworthy, caring, and a great communicator. He always puts in the extra effort to give each dog what it needs and my dogs always come home tired, tails wagging and full of love. Highly recommend Alex to watch your precious furry babies.

I can’t recommend Alex enough as a dog walker. He’s one of those rare people who dogs just instantly trust. My dog, Ryder, took to him right away, and every walk since has been fantastic — consistent, reliable, and full of genuine care. Alex is always punctual, communicates clearly, and sends great updates and photos after each walk. Most importantly, he treats every dog like his own. Whether it’s a quick walk or a longer adventure, I know Ryder is safe, happy, and well-exercised with Alex. If you’re looking for someone responsible, kind, and truly great with dogs, Alex is absolutely the person you want caring for your pup.

Alex has taken great care of my baby, Lola. He first watched her for a week when she was only 6 months old and did a great job taking care of her as a puppy and has since formed a great bond with her as he contort watch her for us a year and half later. She loves Alex and can’t wait to spend time with him, making me feel comfortable leaving her in his care. He does a great job giving her the attention and exercise she needs at this age and is great at communicating and scheduling.

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work a hybrid schedule, so I’m home Monday, Tuesday, and Friday — those are the days I’m most available and looking to pet sit. On those days, I have plenty of flexibility to give pets consistent attention, walks, feeding, and playtime. Weekends are also a possibility, although I’m often out and about, so availability may vary. Overall, I’m able to build pet care smoothly into my week and make sure pets get the time and care they neeD.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a comfortable, safe, and relaxed environment. I live in a 3-bed, 3.5-bath home, and while certain areas can be blocked off if needed, pets typically have full access to the main living spaces so they can settle in comfortably. I don’t have any pets of my own, which helps keep the environment calm and easy for visiting animals to adjust to. Although I don’t have a private yard, my community has a shared green space, and I’m just steps away from dog runs and walking paths. This makes it easy to provide regular potty breaks, outdoor time, and plenty of exercise. I tailor care to each pet’s needs — whether that’s structured walks, playtime, feeding routines, or just keeping them company. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines and preferences to make sure their pet feels secure and cared for in their own environment. Overall, my goal is to create a comfortable, attentive, and reliable experience for every pet I look after.
