Hey, I’m Alex! I’m a 35 year old guy living in The Village (just north of SMU). I love dogs and grew up with golden retrievers in my family since I was 6 years old. I want dogs of my own when I’m eventually married or in a committed relationship but have decided not to have them while single so I can enjoy a more flexible schedule to travel and live life without that full time responsibility. I really miss having dogs in my life tho, so I figured what better way to fill that void than to sign up as a caregiver to care for other peoples dogs when they need the help! I already take care of several of my friend’s dogs in the area when they need it so I’m very familiar with the typical needs of pet parents. I work 100% remote from my apartment and have a pretty flexible work schedule which makes it easier to do walks during the day or even take care of your dog in my apartment if necessary. The village is an excellent place for dogs. There are so many of them here and we have great walking trails, fields, and even a dog park. Extremely dog friendly area. I consider myself very personable and easy to work with/text to figure out exactly what your needs are.
