With nearly 20 years of hands-on experience, I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities — from tiny puppies to seniors who need a little extra TLC. I’m always continuing to learn and grow, and I’ve had the opportunity to study principles influenced by trainers like Cesar Millan, which has deepened my focus on calm energy, structure, and balanced pack dynamics. We absolutely loved Tank’s day at Duke’s! Alex was so sweet and welcoming and Tank had the best time. I loved getting photo updates throughout the day and seeing him having SO much fun. And as a dachshund mom, seeing how many other dachshunds were there made me so happy!!! Such a great experience and tank can’t wait to come back! 🐾🥰

Bunny loves Alexander! He takes her on long walks and is easy to communicate with. Anytime I’m out of town Alexander walks bunny.
Alex took great care of my puppy and was gracious enough to take a long (11 day) booking over the holidays on very short notice. He kept me regularly updated and sent lots of cute videos and pictures of my boy having a great time. He was patient and attentive of my dog’s needs and welfare, and never got frustrated when my puppy completely regressed on house and crate training while in the sitter’s home. Rather, he communicated the issues and tried to find a solution over the course of the stay. He clearly loves dogs and gives his houseguests a great experience, from walks to trips to the park. 100% recommend!!
Alex is amazing with my dog Philander! I felt confident leaving him in such good hands. Highly recommend.

A typical day
Every day with your dog is thoughtfully structured to balance exercise, enrichment, and calm. We start with a morning walk to get their body moving and set a relaxed tone for the day. Back at home, we focus on engaging activities like sniff games, light training, and mental stimulation to keep them fulfilled—not overstimulated. If approved, we may visit the local dog park for controlled, positive socialization, always prioritizing your dog’s comfort and energy. Throughout the day, I maintain a calm, structured environment so dogs feel secure, balanced, and well-guided. Afternoons are adjusted to your dog’s needs—whether that’s more play, enrichment, or rest. We wind down with a peaceful evening walk and plenty of affection, helping your pup settle into a relaxed, safe state before bedtime.
