Hi, we’re Alex & Jade, an Irish couple living in Wandsworth. We’ve both had dogs our entire lives. We have a beautiful 5 year old female Golden Retriever called River (who will undoubtedly be your dogs new best friend). We adore dogs, and have experience in looking after all types of dogs, young and old, and all shapes and sizes!

Otto had a lovely day staying here. Alex provided regular updates with photographs during the day and Otto seemed to love River’s company! Would definitely use again and highly recommend!
Our dog had a fantastic time staying with Alexander, Jade and River. Lots of good walks when it wasn’t too hot and they kept us up to date with pictures, videos and messages. I would highly recommend him.
Alex, Jade and their dog River were brilliant with our bouncy Aussie Shepherd. Comms were great, we received lots of photos and could clearly see that she had a lovely time and was well looked after. They have lots of experience with dogs and we felt confident that they’d handle anything while we were away. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again ☺️
Incredible dog sitters and I would happily recommend Alexander and jade to anyone. I was nervous leaving my pup as he’s very timid and unsure of anyone however both took the time, gave him space and he ended up coming out of his shell. Nothing was too much to ask of these two and I am so grateful of them both. Have one very happy puppy and must say river is great with my pup as well. Would highly recommend and will be a repeat customer. Two wonderful people 🩷
Tommy got along well with River on our meet and greet and this carried over to the boarding days . Alex coped well with Tommy's first night in a different environment and they have taken on board some tips . Overall Alex sent me lots of photos of Tommy in the house and at their walks . Very attentive with details regarding your dog , i would recommend , and hopefully book again

Schedule
We both work hybrid, so there is usually always someone at home during the week. Note - on some weeks though this is not the case and our calendar will be updated accordingly. Our dog River gets out for lots of walks, making use of the great parks and Thames path walkways at our disposal in Wandsworth, your dog would be coming along as part of the family!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a dog friendly property with a large secure and covered balcony, that means that even if it is raining, your dog can sit with River in the fresh air and watch the world go by! If your dog prefers to lie up on the sofa, or even on the bed, that’s ok! If your dog isn’t allowed on the furniture at home and you’d prefer some boundaries put in place for your dog, we can do this also!

A typical day
A typical day in our house with River is a short early morning trip to the park to have a quick play and go to the toilet. Then it’s time to relax and enjoy the morning before lunch. At lunch time we get out for a short trip to the toilet. After work it’s time for a big long walk. We will take her to King Georges park, Wandsworth park, Wandsworth common or a big walk along the Thames path towards Battersea. Rivers walks are mostly on lead, only allowing her to be off lead to play in well enclosed and safe areas with other suitable dogs. If you’d prefer your dog to stay on lead at all times we would comply by this. After a long tiring walk it’s time for dinner. Before bed time we take one final trip out to use the toilet, then it’s time to settle in on the sofa, or dog bed, for a lovely sleep.
