We are a working family with the flexibility of working from home, which allows us to provide a consistent and attentive environment for the dogs in our care. Whenever we have a dog boarding with us, we ensure that one of us is always at home, so they are never left alone for long periods. Your dog will enjoy plenty of company, supervision and interaction throughout the day, along with regular toilet breaks, playtime and cuddles. We understand how important routine and reassurance are when dogs are away from home, and we do everything we can to make their stay feel safe, relaxed and part of the family.

Safety, trust & environment
We care for every dog as if they were our own, providing a true home from home within a warm, family living environment. From the moment they arrive, our focus is on helping them feel safe, settled and completely part of the household. Dogs stay with us in our family home — not in kennels — and share our everyday living spaces. They are included in daily life, whether that’s relaxing in the lounge, pottering around the house, or enjoying time in the garden. We take time to understand each dog’s individual routine, preferences and personality so their stay feels familiar and comfortable.

Information Alexander N. would like to know about your pet
We believe dogs settle best when their normal routine is maintained as closely as possible. Ahead of every booking, we take the time to understand your dog’s individual needs so their stay feels like a home-from-home experience. To help us prepare, we’ll ask about: Daily Routine Your dog’s usual wake-up time, walk schedule, feeding times and evening wind-down routine. Feeding & Diet What food they eat, portion sizes, any allergies or sensitivities, and whether treats are allowed. Sleeping Arrangements Where they normally sleep (bed, crate, sofa, owner’s room etc.) and whether they sleep through the night. Toilet Habits How often they go out, whether they signal to go outside, and confirmation they are house trained. Being Left Alone Whether they’ve been left before, how long they are comfortable alone, and any signs of separation anxiety. Children & Socialisation Whether they are used to children and how they respond to a family home environment. Other Dogs How they are around other dogs, including behaviour on walks and recall reliability. Health & Wellbeing Any medical conditions, medication, dietary requirements and confirmation that vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date. Personality & Preferences What they love, what they dislike, any fears, and anything that helps them feel safe and settled. By gathering this information ahead of time, we can ensure every dog receives personalised care, attention and plenty of affection throughout their stay.
A typical day
Your dog will receive plenty of attention, affection and supervision throughout the day. Walks are tailored to their energy levels, playtime provides both fun and enrichment, and there’s always calm downtime for rest and cuddles. We closely follow feeding routines, dietary requirements and any specific instructions you provide, ensuring consistency and reassurance while you’re away. Above all, we create a calm, loving atmosphere where your dog feels secure, valued and truly at home — giving you complete peace of mind.

A Safe, Loving Home from Home for Dogs
Pet care experience
We are a warm, family-of-four household with many years of experience caring for dogs, having recently said goodbye to our beloved Lakeland Terrier of 15 years. She was part of our daily life, so we understand routines, walks, feeding schedules, and individual dog personalities. Our two young daughters have grown up with dogs and are calm, gentle, and respectful around visiting pets. A typical weekday includes a walk first thing in the morning, dropping the children at school, working from home with a lunchtime walk, and then picking the children up, followed by a further walk. Dogs are rarely left alone and are well supervised throughout the day. Weekends are typically spent exploring the outdoors together, followed by relaxing time at home. Family and friends’ dogs, including Labradors, Cockapoos, Pugs, and French Bulldogs, are regular visitors, so dogs enjoy socialization if they wish. Our fully secure back garden is ideal for play and relaxation, providing a safe, comfortable home-from-home where small and medium dogs are treated as part of the family.
