Your dog is in good hands
Dog walking isn't just a hobby or a side-hustle for me. It's a full-time job that, as an animal lover, I am passionate about and take very seriously. I've been dog-walking and sitting full-time since early 2017, but I've worked with dogs for much longer than that. In the 5 years prior to joining the Rover team, I spent nearly every weekend volunteering my time at a local animal shelter (Anderson Animal Shelter in South Elgin, IL), where I got to care for dogs who lacked homes and engage them in physical activity. It was very rewarding work and it was one of the things that led me to become a Rover pet-care provider. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels so I don't discriminate. If your dog is full of energy, I will make sure he/she gets plenty of exercise. If your dog has special needs, those can be accommodated as well. So if you need someone to walk or look after your furry friend, feel free to contact me and I will respond within minutes.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety is always my priority. I will always keep your dog(s) leashed on walks, unless you specifically tell me off-leash walks are ok. I carry pepper spray with me to protect your dog and myself from potential attacks by other dogs/coyotes/etc.

Alex is such a fantastic sitter for us! We always use him when we go out of town and our pups are wonderfully cared for! He communicates well about what is going on and how our 3 dogs are doing, he is always on time and frequently goes above and beyond to make sure our fur family is comfortable and happy!
Alexander is great with My Lola. We did a successful meet and greet, and began the weekly Schedule with dog walks. He is great With communication and makes sure Lola is taken care of.
Alex did an absolutely wonderful job with Roscoe and was able to go above and beyond for me and the misses when our flight got delayed. Highly recommend him for any dog watching needs.
Alexander did a fantastic job taking care of our 3 pups. He was timely every day, made sure they all had walks and plenty of attention, and left our home well taken care of as well. We got regular and thorough updates on what happened every day of his stay and plenty of pictures. We will definitely look forward to rebooking Alexander.

Schedule
This is my full-time job so I'll have plenty of time to cater to your pups. I work weekdays between 8AM and 6PM. I don't work on weekends.
