My dogs are trained on command, I crate them, I try to teach them new things, I walk them regularly, and show them as much love as possible on a regular routine. As I have 2 dogs, I also make sure I do things with them together and separately so that they don’t become too dependent on one another :)

I would love to know how your dog typically behaves and what communication works best for your dogs so I can be best for them :) I have not worked with any dogs with disabilities before or dogs of old age but I’m willing to do everything in my power to accommodate as best as I can and learn as much as I can about and for them!!

For me personally, I love to chase dogs, grab one of their toys with my hand and play tug of war, and so much more!!! I love playing with dogs as if I’m one of them lol just not with all the slobber :) But anything your dog loves I can find a way of incorporating it into the routine!!

I had such a great experience with Alexander K. on Rover! He took amazing care of my little dog, Starsky (my 5-year-old corgi), and I could tell right away how attentive and kind he is. Alexander walked him for a long time, made sure he had plenty of chances to pee and poop, and spent time really playing and engaging with him. He also made sure Starsky was fed, had fresh water, and got lots of attention and love while I was away. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. Alex is a kind, responsible, and incredibly dedicated dog caregiver. As the proud caretaker of his two three-year-old pups, Luna and Leo, he handles every part of their care with love and consistency—from bathing and feeding them to walking them daily and continuing their training. It’s clear how much patience and attention he gives to animals, and his dogs are happy, well-cared-for, and deeply bonded with him. Alex has also been a wonderful help with my nine-year-old dog, Brady. He’s assisted with walking, feeding, and giving Brady plenty of affection and attention. Brady absolutely enjoys spending time with him, and it’s reassuring to know he’s in such caring hands. Alex is dependable, gentle, and genuinely loves animals. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker or sitter. Any pet would be lucky to spend time with him.
I highly recommend Alex as a dog caregiver. He’s a responsible 21-year-old who cares for two dogs, Leo and Luna (about three years old), and he was wonderful with my yellow lab, Boomer, who is 9. He clearly loves dogs and shows it in the way he cares for them — long, energetic walks, consistent routines, and plenty of attention and play. He uses a variety of commands to guide the pups calmly and effectively, keeping them well-behaved and safe on outings. He communicated promptly, was reliable with scheduling, and Boomer came home happy and relaxed after each visit. I’ll definitely book him again.
