Lifelong dog parent. Home all day!
I've raised dogs and cats my entire life — goldens, Bernese mountain dogs, labs, and mixes — and I'm completely devoted to animals. After a decade as an institutional trader, I'm taking a year to focus on my own business and on what I love most: caring for dogs every day. That background means I'm reliable, calm under pressure, and disciplined about medication schedules, feeding routines, and clear daily updates (and great at handling unique client needs). Comfortable with puppies, seniors, anxious dogs, and high-energy breeds.

I can’t recommend Alex enough!! Upon first meeting him for our meet-and-greet with our two Great Danes, he was so professional and kind. Throughout the 8 days that Alex was caring for our dogs, he was incredibly thoughtful, thorough, and supportive. There were several extremely hot days where our house wouldn’t cool down and he thought of creative solution in order to keep the dogs more comfortable. He provided very detailed updates along with pictures during each visit, and it was very evident that the dogs were so happy with him (it’s fun to watch a Great Dane “hug” and cuddle a new friend☺️). Normally our dogs bark when visitors enter our house (even people they’ve known for years), but they were so comfortable and familiar with Alex by the end of the 8 days that they didn’t even bark at him anymore. It’s clear that they quickly fell in love with Alex. I appreciate how much he truly cared about the well-being of our dogs while we were away. I felt very at-ease while we were away because I knew they were in such great hands. When we got home from our vacation our dogs were so relaxed and content, which goes to show how well they were cared for while we were gone. I will definitely be contacting Alex again!!
Alex is super friendly and obviously loves dogs! Our pup came home happy and exercised. Will definitely be using Alex’s services again!
Alexander was a wonderful host to our two dogs. He took our younger pup on long walks daily and made sure that our older pup was well cared for as well. One of our dogs had a minor health concern while we were on vacation and Alexander was totally on top of it and even offered to take our pup to our vet. He truly cared for our pups as if they were his own. You can completely tell that he adores dogs. At pick-up our dogs were so happy. Thank you so much, Alexander for loving on our dogs so well! We will most definitely reach out to you again!
Alex was great!!! He took excellent care of our 11 year-old golden retriever while we were out of town. He kept us updated with messages and pictures which was so comforting. Will definitely seek Alex out in the future!
I felt SO comfortable leaving Gracie with Alex after spending 5 minutes talking with him at drop-off. He posted pics and sent positive feedback and I would absolutely recommend Alex (and Oscar!) as caregivers. We will definitely be calling next time we're out of town...THANK YOU!
Can’t recommend Alex king anything but a wonderful dog owner himself! He owns a beautiful 86 lb golden retriever, Oscar, who is a love! Alex is the most loving owner, with Oscar outside of the house and in! Alex lives in Cohasset and takes Oscar a variety of places! One , Oscar ‘s favorite, World’s end in Hingham. He does long walks on the trails, but Oscar also loves swimming, that he does there as well, chasing tennis balls in the water. Then they also go to Sandy beach in Cohasset, or Turkey Hill in Hingham or the Whitney Spur trail in Cohasset.If Oscar get muddy, he gives him a bath but what is also is the time they spend at home. Oscar sleeps with him or is often on the sofa with Alex just having snuggle time. I thoroughly assure you Alex would be a great person to walk and care for your dog. Hope you will entrust you dog’s care to Alex! They will have fun and be well cared for.

I'm home full-time this year while I build my own business, so your dog has constant company — no commute, no daycare drop-offs, no long stretches alone. I'm flexible on pickup and drop-off times, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Walks, yard time, and play run on your dog's schedule, not mine. I was a trader for a decade both in the US and Asia so too late / too early doesn’t exist to me :)

Your dog stays in a quiet Cohasset home with a yard for play and potty breaks throughout the day + secure porch for sun bathing! My 5yr old golden retriever, Oscar, is gentle with humans, well- socialized, and great with other dogs (he LOVES everything and everyone) — happy to do a meet-and- greet before we confirm booking to make sure everyone's a good match, or not. I’m happy if you and your pet are comfortable, that’s it. I follow your feeding, medication, and exercise routine exactly as you'd do at home, send photo updates daily, and can crate if that's part of your dog's normal routine. Smoke-free and calm environment. We have endless routes for adventures (and swimming, if cleared by you)!

A typical day
I love nature as much as any dog I have ever met. I always like to spend some time letting animals get a feel for me and my home / yard on day one. We have so many great trails available to us that I try to mix it up to make sure no one gets bored lol.
