I have experience caring for dogs of various sizes and have fostered kittens since I was a teenager. I have primarily helped neighbors and family friends with dogs, including dogs with high anxiety or behavioral challenges. I understand the importance of being patient, giving anxious animals space, and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I also have a rescue cat of my own who came from a difficult background and had been mistreated. Because of this experience, I understand how important it is to take things slowly, respect an animal’s boundaries, and build trust over time. I provide attentive, structured, and loving care for every pet. I make sure dogs receive regular potty breaks, using a timer to stay consistent and giving them plenty of time to go. I also schedule frequent playtime and interaction for both cats and dogs so they receive plenty of exercise, stimulation, and companionship. I follow each owner’s feeding and watering schedule carefully and will strictly follow any dietary restrictions or special instructions. I will never give your pet food, treats, or anything outside of your instructions without your permission. I believe in being consistent and firm when necessary while still being patient, playful, and affectionate. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while maintaining the routines and rules you have established.

Alex is one of those people animals just seem to be comfortable around. He’s calm, patient, and never tries to force an animal to interact with him before they’re ready. He pays attention to their individual quirks and is really good about noticing when something seems different or off. I also know that if I give Alex specific instructions about feeding, medications, routines, or the million little things we pet owners can be particular about, he’ll actually follow them. I trust him with my own animals, which is probably the best recommendation I can give.

Schedule
I’m a full-time college student, but I attend school entirely online, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide pet care throughout the day. I can accommodate pets with frequent potty breaks or other specific routines, even if they need attention every hour. I’m also comfortable staying at your home when needed to make sure your pet receives consistent care, attention, and everything they need while you’re away.
