I grew up with two pugs that were around for my entire childhood and into my teen years. I have experience in caretaking for senior dogs with medical issues. I have 20+ years of experience with dogs (7 of those years were spent professionally dogsitting). I also spend my free time as a volunteer at Pug Nation LA and I absolutely love it!! I moved from Hawaii last year where I was a popular dog sitter in my area with several regulars. I'm excited to meet more dogs and take on new clients! I'm located in South OC (Laguna Beach, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel). If you’re interested and in my radius, please book a meet and greet with me ASAP. Also, I exclusively watch dogs and I will NOT accept a booking with any other animals (cats, birds, hamsters, etc).

My care for pets includes a clean house, packages and mail brought in, plants watered, plenty of pictures of your dogs, treats, toys, text updates everyday, daily walks, etc.

Alexa is the BEST! She treats our dog like she’s her own when she’s with her. Your pets will get so much love and attention and you’ll get the best photo updates while you’re away. Alexa is responsible, communicative, and kind. We joke that our dog gets upset when we come home because she wants Alexa to stay forever! You can’t go wrong with hiring her.
Alexa is the best dog sitter I’ve had! She made Slater feel so comfortable and has such a calming presence. Alexa is amazing at communicating things going on throughout the day and makes sure to send lots of pictures of your pups. I couldn’t recommend her more!
Alexa was amazing with our dog Hudson! She asked great questions that showed me she was going above and beyond to take really good care of him and sent us a ton of updates and pictures which I LOVED. Her love for animals shines through and we both felt incredibly comfortable leaving our dog with her (which is hard to do because we’re picky). We will use her again and would recommend her to anyone.
We have been looking for a dog sitter in our area for awhile and are SO happy we found Alexa! Our dog, Dixie, can take a while to warm up to new people, but loved Alexa immediately. Scheduling with Alexa was so easy - she’s incredible responsive and very patient (even when I accidentally gave her the wrong dates in our first conversation 🤦🏼♀️). Dixie is very strong for her size, which has deterred other dog walkers in the past, but Alexa wasn’t phased. We will absolutely be booking with her again!
Alexa was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with our crazy puppy dogs! While we were gone on our trip, Alexa updated us with daily pictures and let us know how they were doing. Both dogs adore Alexa and loved the time they spent with her. We also came home to a clean home :)

Schedule
I accepted a job as a substitute teacher in South OC! I love that this new role is flexible and works well with my dogsitting schedule :) However, that does mean I am out of the house for up to 8 hours each day during the work week. If your dogs cannot be left alone that long then I can only dogsit for you on weekends (Fri night-Sun night).
