I’m a homeschool parent, flexible during the day. My kids are older, so am able to leave in the morning, mid day and evenings to check on your fur babies. I always stay in touch with my pet parents and send them photos when they are out of town.

The safety and security of the home is my top priority. I always check behind me to make sure doors are locked and animals are always accounted for. For trust and environment, the needs of each client will be addressed once I get to know the family and their pet(s). Basic services includes bathroom breaks, feedings, cleaning up pet messes, play time outside for dogs, pets/ cuddles and administering medication. I will not force love on an animal that is shy and doesn’t like to be pet, but I will sit down with them so they aren’t alone.

If your dog requires walking, please let me know ahead of time if he or she is leash reactive. If they are timid or aggressive with strangers. Knowing these details is important for my safety as well as theirs.
A typical day
The first thing I do is let them out to go potty. If I see any accidents in the common areas, I clean it up and toss in the outside trash. I check the water bowls for fresh water. We will play out back and get those pups nice and tired. Most importantly, lots of love and attention.

Pet care experience
I have experience from small pets to large farm animals. While I am new to rover, I have been watching pets for over 20 years for friends and family. I love animals and I do this because I truly want to and not because I need to. My goal for any client, is to make the owner and pets feel as comfortable as possible. As someone who likes to travel myself, I know how important it is to find a sitter that can take the security of your home seriously, as well as the care of your fur babies.

Alexa is AMAZING!! I am very particular with who I trust my babies with and I had ZERO anxiety while Alexa was watching them. I had very specific instructions, she followed all of them perfectly. My favorite part about Alexa is she knows how to conduct herself around big dogs and anxious ones at that. You can tell she understands animal behavior. Alexa was absolutely fabulous! She took amazing care of our 5 cats while we were out of town. She is an excellent, reliable, quick communicator and kept us updated during every visit with plenty of photos. She was very respectful of our property and also brought in some packages that were delivered during our absence. We will absolutely hire Alexa in the future and are grateful to have found such a reliable, responsive and caring sitter.
I have a 65 pound American bully who gets overly excited when he meets new people and Alexa was so patient with him and she also treated my home like it was hers!
Alexa did a fantastic job taking care of my golden retriever, Barry. She asked about his routine, his habits, and the extra attention he’s used to, which showed she truly cared about making him comfortable. She introduced him to her dogs in a controlled environment and everything went smoothly with no issues. She sent daily pictures and updates, which gave me peace of mind knowing he was happy and being treated like family. I highly recommend Alexa and will definitely book with her again!
