I currently work part time with varying hours, so please reach out for availability for drop-in’s and walks! When staying in your home I may need to leave from 4-8 hrs depending on my work schedule. Just let me know what your pet needs and we will see what I can do to accommodate! I do not take pets into my home (boarding).

I will be sure that your pet is getting the care I would expect for my own. Clean water and food bowls and all of the snuggles. I also do some light cleaning of shared spaces while in my clients homes, if they are comfortable with it! You can expect your home to be cleaner than you left it ❤️ I have experience with reactivity when going on walks because of my own pup and have learned how to manage these situations calmly while keeping your pet safe.

Please let me know if your dog has had any reactivity in the past. I also like to know what commands your dog knows, or is working on! (Ex. Sit, come, place/bed, etc.) Do they have any health issues? A favorite toy? Any resource guarding? Do they love treats over toys, or vice versa? Are they afraid or unsure of anything? Anything else that you think I should be aware of so I can make your dog happy and comfortable while you are away ❤️
A typical day
Whatever your dog likes to do as their usual routine I like to stick to so they can stay as comfortable as possible while you’re away! If they go on walks daily then I love to make sure your dog(s) are satisfied on their walks, sniffing and short jogs if they are higher energy. If you prefer that we stay around your home that is fine too - we can play in the yard or house.

Pet care experience
I want to make sure your pet(s) are as comfortable as possible while you are away through following their routines and gaining their trust (if needed!). I also know that I personally worry about my pets while I am away so I make sure to communicate with you and accommodate your requests 🥰🐾 If your pet is shy or easily excited that is not a problem for me. If you are working on any training with your pup I am comfortable following your training plan when I am with them. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs as I have had both. High drive or excitable dogs are not a problem for me and I also can take care of larger dogs!

Alexa was wonderful! She sent photos and checked in unprompted. I have active dogs and she was very understanding of their needs! I would highly recommend her!
I’ll be the first to admit, I’m a very anxious pet parent especially as a mom to a senior dog with doggy dementia. I was VERY nervous leaving for a quick overnight but Heidi and Canelo were in the best of hands. Alexa was wildly communicative from the very start and throughout the overnight stay. She kept me at ease throughout the evening with lots of photos and updates. Canelo (my super shy cat) even made an appearance! All in all, Alexa is amazing. Will definitely use Alexa in the future for more house sitting and/or drop-in visits! 11/10 recommend!
Alexa stayed with our three dachshunds while we had a short getaway. She took great care of our boys and the house. There was great communication and I knew the dogs were in good hands!
Alexa was great with taking care of my dog overnight. She stayed at our house and everything went perfectly. She went above and beyond and was very communicative, following all the instructions for feeding and taking care of our dog. We came back home to a happy dog. We would highly recommend her and are grateful she was able to take care of our dog on short notice even!
