I’ve had extensive experience with dog and cat sitting, including with my own dog since I was 12. I have dog and cat sat for multiple households, working with dogs of various ages and sizes. I take pride in ensuring the dogs I care for get at least a solid hour or two of exercise each day, on or off leash, when their age and health permit it.

I have a fenced in yard at my home, and clutter is contained in shelves and drawers, to prevent pets getting ahold of anything they could chew or swallow. I live near many parks and trails and have a spacious car to travel with pets to parks. I am meticulous about ensuring pets are clean and dry following any walks to prevent odour or the risk of any sores from moisture. Our roommates upstairs do have a playful German shepherd who’s often sunbathing in the yard waiting for friends to come say hi :)

Alexa is the best. Our dog looked so happy in all the photos we received while we were away for the weekend. I really felt like our dog was so well looked after and given lots of love and affection. It was so nice coming home to a tidy place with a tired and content dog. Will 100 percent be using Alexa's pet services in the future!
Alexa was so patient and lovely with our nervous gal Nyx. Calm, kind, and clearly knows her way around dogs.
Alexa was fabulous (and I am pretty sure our black lab would completely agree)!
Alexa did a wonderful job looking after our two rescues! She took great care of our house, took our dogs for lots of walks and outings, fed and washed them, and most importantly gave them lots and lots of pets. She was very respectful of our house, when we came back, it was very clean -- maybe even cleaner than when we left. We will happily use Alexa again and recommend her to any of our friends and family who needed their dogs watched!
Wonderful communication and lots of patience and energy for my crazy adolescent dog!
