Currently, I’m not working as I’m looking for a position in research, so my schedule is very open. Aside from reading and exercising, I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for dogs. Being around them would bring me so much happiness, as it reminds me of my own dog and cats back home, whom I miss deeply. This opportunity fits perfectly into my routine and would help fill that gap by allowing me to share my love for animals. I normally exercise at 7-8am and then prepare my meals, I go to the park to read, I also stay at home those windy and rainy days. I have three parks next to home.

I have a fence yard, but since I do not have a dog/cat, we barely use it. However, there is plenty of space for our little friend. Also I have a bag that I used to take my dog when he was a baby. I have 2 roommates who are lovely, they occasionally are at home but basically is just me during the day.

Additionally, understanding how they interact with other dogs or people will help me ensure they’re comfortable and happy during our time together. Thus, I will like to know if they are comfortable in public spaces or if they prefer going out to non crowded parks, if they like children or if that makes them feel uncomfortable. It is essential to me to know about their routine! ?❤️
A typical day
I love engaging dogs in a variety of fun activities to keep them happy and stimulated. We’ll go on long, adventurous walks to explore parks, play fetch or tug-of-war for exercise, and even have some downtime for cuddles and relaxation. For dogs who love to run, we’ll enjoy a good jog together, while those who enjoy a calmer pace can indulge in sniffing out new scents during leisurely walks. Every activity will be tailored to their energy and preferences, ensuring they have the best time possible!

Alexa looked after my inlaws Akita called Seren. She was brilliant from the start with her communication. She looked after Seren for 4 days over Christmas and kept us informed every day with pictures of her going for a walk and in the house. I would highly recommend Alexa as nothing was too much trouble and we never had to worry as we knew she was well looked after. Thankyou so much Alexa you were brilliant.
Alexa is lovely and looked after Charlie very well. Very kind, responsive and accommodating to my requests, sent me plenty of photos whilst she had Charlie and he seemed to have a great time with Alexa, enjoying the one-to-one attention! Will definitely book with Alexa again if I need someone to look after Charlie.
