As a graphic designer with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of availability to provide dependable pet care throughout the week. I’m also a student at the University of Utah, and during the summer I have even more flexibility for drop-in visits, walks, overnight stays, and last-minute bookings. I love spending time with animals and am happy to work around your pet’s schedule to help keep their day as normal and stress-free as possible! :)

When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is helping them feel safe and comfortable by keeping them on their normal routine. I carefully follow any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any training or household rules your pet is used to. I also have a cat of my own, Lula, so I understand how important it is to create a clean, comfortable environment for pets. I keep her space fresh and tidy, make sure she always has clean water, a clean litter box, and plenty of enrichment, and of course she’s very spoiled with love, playtime, and attention whenever she’s in the mood. I always take the time to make sure pets are secure before opening doors or going outside, use leashes and harnesses as instructed, and pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs and personality. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own, and I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

I love making sure pets stay happy, active, and engaged! We’ll go on walks, explore new smells, play their favorite games, enjoy plenty of playtime, and of course take time for cuddles and treats!

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years, starting with the dogs I grew up with and continuing through pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors. I’ve cared for both small and medium-sized dogs, as well as cats, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Growing up, I helped care for our family dogs by feeding them, taking them on walks, brushing them, playing with them, and making sure they felt loved every day. I also regularly cared for my neighbor’s dog and my grandma’s dog and two cats whenever she traveled. One of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had was caring for our senior family dog as he grew older. He became blind and deaf and eventually needed diapers and extra assistance throughout the day. Caring for him taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and letting the pet set the pace. I adapted to his changing needs, helped him feel comfortable and safe, and made sure he continued to enjoy life in the ways he could. Now that I live on my own, I have a cat of my own who is very spoiled and well loved. I also pet sit for friends and family, including two energetic young Goldendoodles. I’m comfortable keeping up with high-energy dogs, reinforcing treat and kennel training, sticking to feeding schedules, going on long walks, playing until they’re tired out, and staying overnight so they can remain comfortable in their own home. Whether I’m caring for a playful puppy, an energetic dog, a shy cat, or a senior pet who needs a little extra patience, I always tailor my care to each animal’s individual needs. I treat every pet like they’re my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
