I cannot recommend booking with this sitter. The meet and greet was an hour long, plenty of time to check out my dog. I bathed my dog and combed her the day before boarding. She wears a Seresto collar and takes Bravecto monthly. After one night, Alexa claimed my dog had fleas and demanded I pay extra for a bath to continue watching her. When I asked for pictures she sent me some with a few pieces of dead skin. She claimed she knew it was a flea because “it has wings.” Fleas don’t have wings. I was out of town for my daughter’s birthday and have no family in the area, which she was aware of. I went ahead paid her so I could carry on with my trip. Afterward, she still refused to care for my dog claiming she was infested. She said she was picking them off but never sent a picture of one. I contacted support, found another sitter, and had my dog examined by a vet the next day. The vet found no fleas and no evidence of an infestation. I had already informed Alexa that my dog has allergies that cause dandruff, dry skin and crusty scabs. My dog’s skin is worse than when I dropped her off. What should have been a fun family trip became unnecessarily stressful.
