My very first job was caring for my neighbors' dogs and cats while they were away on vacation. I was just 10 years old, and I'm so grateful they trusted me with their pets. That experience not only taught me responsibility but also sparked a lifelong passion for pet sitting. I've always been a dog lover and grew up with two dogs in my home at all times. Over the years, I've cared for breeds including Akitas, Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, and Entlebucher Mountain Dogs, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. One of my proudest accomplishments has been training my own dogs, Kona and Remy, starting when they were just 10 weeks old. That experience strengthened our bond and taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I strive to provide the love, exercise, structure, and attention they deserve. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and cared for while you're away, giving you peace of mind that they're in good hands.

Alexa has an innate ability to connect with all animals. I've never seen such a "natural" animal pack leader. Dogs and cats just gravitate towards her. Not only does she have an incredibly intuitive mind for what they need, she also has an immense heart for loving them and they just know it. She can walk 5 dogs at one time and they all listen to her and behave because they want to please her! She is fearless and undaunted by pet challenges. Her dogs are two of the best behaved and happy dogs I know. I would not hesitate to have any animal in Alexa's care. She is incredible!
My family refers to Alexa as the dog whisperer - no matter the size, age, or personality, dogs always seem to gravitate toward her! She is caring, responsible, trustworthy, and has experience training and raising multiple dogs of her own. I’m currently working part time so my schedule is flexible. I make my own hours so I can pet sit anytime of day and night.
