Pet care experience
My family adopted a dog, Gracie, when I was 12, and I have always helped take care of her. I have worked at two doggy daycare/boarding facilities over the last 3 years as a shift lead and then supervisor. On any given day, I could have anywhere from 10 to 35 dogs! My job included maintaining a safe (and fun) environment for pups to play off leash, reinforcing positive behavior and redirecting negative behavior, feeding, administering medication, practicing skills such as sitting and high-fives, practicing crate and collar desensitization, bathing and nail trims, lots and lots of cleaning, as well as the typical management duties.

Alexa was fantastic. She stayed with two of our dogs - one who is old and cranky and one who is young and scared of everything. She sent us updates and photos. Would absolutely hire her again to stay with our motley group of dogs.

Selfishly, I don’t want Alexa getting too popular because I want to keep her all for myself. She was everything I would hope for in a dog sitter. Very patient with my emotional and high energy husky, sent photos of her progress, and took great care to make Indie as comfortable happy and healthy as possible. My dog doesn’t trust new people easily and attached to Alexa thanks to all of Alexas knowledge, experience, patience. and care. I wouldn’t want to trust Indie with anyone else.
