I have been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I personally have grown up with dogs, and have been taking care of my neighbors dogs since I was 9. At a young age I started a dog walking service in my neighborhood where I would take dogs for walks, check in on pets while owners were at work, and even took their pets into my own home while owners were away on vacation. I have since continued to do this on rover both while at school, and while at home on breaks!! I have taken care of a wide range of dogs, including small to big sized dogs, and young (puppy) to older (elderly) dogs. I find it to be one of the most enjoyable jobs I have!!

Alexa is the best!
I have been using Alexa to care for my three large dogs for three years. She is absolutely fantastic with them. My dogs adore her, and love when she comes over to care for them. She will spent snuggle time with them and groom them. She takes them for walks, even though they have a huge yard to play in and I only ask her to let them outside. She even sends me photos of them when I am gone for extended periods of time and she is staying with them at my house! I don’t travel unless I know she is there to take care of my furbabies.

Schedule
As a college student currently living away from home, pet care is a great fit for my weekly routine! I’m looking to help local families care for their pets while also getting the chance to spend time with dogs and cats while I’m at school and away from my own. I’m happy to work pet care into my schedule around classes and am very flexible with my availability. I’m available anytime on weekends, can stay overnight when needed, and am happy to stop by early in the morning before classes or anytime after my classes end. I love spending time with animals, and I’m excited to provide families with reliable, loving care while also earning some extra money on the side to go towards my education!

I absolutely love animals and don’t hesitate to spend every moment I can with them! Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or visiting a client’s home, I want each animals to feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I’m happy to spend extra time playing, going for walks, giving belly rubs, or simply keeping them company so they don’t feel lonely. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual personality, routines, and needs, and I’m committed to following their normal schedule as closely as possible. I treat every pet as if they were my own and want both the pets and their families to feel comfortable knowing they are in good hands.
A typical day
I love being outdoors and think it’s the perfect way to help dogs get some of their energy out while having fun! I enjoy going on walks and playing fetch with my own dogs, and I would love doing the same with the pets I care for. I also love spending time with cats, whether that means playing with their favorite toys, giving them plenty of attention, or simply relaxing and keeping them company. Depending on the pet’s personality and energy level, I’m happy to spend time playing, exploring outside, going for walks, or simply enjoying some quality time together.

- I think it’s important to know each pet’s personality, routine, likes and dislikes, and any specific needs before caring for them. I’d also want to know about their feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications if applicable, and how they typically interact with other people or animals. Most importantly, I want to know what makes each pet comfortable and happy so I can make their time with me as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.
