I am currently working a remote and flexible job that allows me to travel and manage my responsibilities from anywhere. I can travel as needed to care for your pets, whether it is for overnight or day visits. I can adjust my schedule to fit the needs of your pets, whether it is waking up early to go for a walk at sunrise or staying up late with a night owl (no pun intended).

As a person, I am very kind, loving, caring, and patient, and I believe your pets deserve these qualities in someone who is spending time with them. I am committed to providing them with the care and comfort in their own home, an environment they are already familiar with, and following the same exercise, feeding, and playtime routines they receive from their caregivers. I take great care in attention to detail in all aspects of my life, and I will ensure that the requests and instructions provided for caring for your pet will be followed with the same level of commitment. I understand that for pets, being away from their owners can be difficult (and vice versa), and I want them to feel safe and loved in my care. I am happy to stay in your home and take care of your pet where they are most comfortable - I’m a tidy person and will never leave a mess in your space. Please let me know if your pets have certain habits or behaviours (for example, my cat is a social eater) that would help me to better care for them during my visits. It would also be great to know of any kinds of medications or other special need your pets have. Additional details such as play time preferences, meal times, sleep/wake times, and everything in between can be discussed during a pre-booking visit if you wish!
A typical day
I love to make sure the pets I care for have the same playtime routines as they do with their owners. Whether it's going to the park together for a run or having some playtime with a feather teaser, I want to make sure everyone is happy and healthy. Both my cats have different preferences for what they think is a fun playtime, and I am always happy to tailor my days to suit the needs of the animals.

Pet care experience
Since childhood, I have always been around animals. I grew up with a Rottweiler for a sibling, cared for a relative's guinea pigs, walked dogs with my best friends, and watched my pet fish give birth when I was 10. I travelled all over the city to spend time with friends' cats during my teenage years, which really contributed to my love for pets (and later influenced my decision to adopt my own). I have had the privilege of spending time with and finding comfort in the company of animals of all shapes and sizes. I have a diverse understanding of individual pet needs, personalities, and care routines with all the wonderful pets I had the pleasure of spending time with. What sets me apart from others is that I am comfortable with pets of any size and age, big or small. My flexible job allows me to engage with your pet and care for them as they need. I have always had a positive experience with animals, and I have found it easy to engage and care for them. I am committed to providing your pet with the care, attention, and love they deserve while you’re away (no matter how long it may be), and you will receive lots of cute photos and updates from us until your return!

Alexa has been a diligent cat carer with experience taking care of kittens and adult cats. She can calmly handle skittish behaviour with the pets best interest in mind!
Alexa is so kind hearted and patient with all of my pets (turtle and 2 cats). Shes so caring and attentive to all their needs. I watch her interact with animals and they all love to be around her! Meeting her cats as well they are so cute and cuddly. Everytime I see them they are so social and welcoming around new people and gentle with my 3 year old daughter.
Alexa is an incredibly caring and loving pet owner. Not only is Alexa's love for animals demonstrated in her care for her own two cats, but it's always evident in the way she treats other pets, and the way those pets love her back. Before my senior dog passed, she always loved seeing, hanging out with, and being walked by Alexa. Alexa is very responsible, reliable, attentive, and makes an excellent pet sitter and walker. I have no doubt she can manage the needs of every pets unique personality and needs.
Alexa did a great job caring for my cats, house plants, collecting mail/deliveries, and ensuring house security by locking all doors/windows, as well as keeping the security system online. She provided regular updates while I was on vacatian abroad, and followed all instructions left behind to the t. I felt comfortable knowing that my critters and home were in good hands.
