I am a full time student so I am available for house sitting on weekdays and weekends. My classes are online so I’m always at home and love to take frequents breaks outside going on long walks or runs! I will make sure to give your pet lots of attention and exercise when I am with them.

There is a fenced yard in my apartment building as well as two amazing dog parks near me that are perfect for playing fetch and walking around! My neighborhood is extremely walkable and safe. I love walking on the lakefront on a nice day. I don’t have pets of my own right now, but I love all animals and can’t wait to meet yours!

A typical day
I love to take the dogs I watch on long walks in my neighborhood. My favorite park is only a block away from me! There we can check out all the new smells, meet other friendly neighborhood dogs and owners, and stimulate their brain with fun active games!

I’ve taken care of my friends, family’s, and neighborhood cats and dogs since I was 16 years old. I am on a pre-medical track and if it wasn’t for my course load I would most likely have my own cats and dogs. I am kind, outgoing, responsible, and reliable. I also have a code for $20 off your first visit with Rover upon request!

Alex was a wonderful pet sitter for my cat! My cat is usually very shy with new people, but by the end of Alex’s first visit, she already felt comfortable enough to come out from under the couch, which I took as a great sign 😊 She followed all of my care instructions, was very responsive, and provided updates after each check-in. I felt at ease while away and would love to book with her again!
Alex was amazing with Wrigley! She provided tons of updates and pictures, asked great questions beforehand, and made sure he was completely comfortable. He had the best time. I felt so at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend!!
