I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and dissatisfaction with the dog-sitting services provided by Alex. Despite providing clear, printed instructions and having detailed discussions during the meet-and-greet and on the day of our departure, Alex completely disregarded our requests and demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism. Firstly, Alex completely ignored the provided trash instructions was just the beginning. Our kitchen was left  dirty, requiring  cleaning upon our return. Grease was splattered across the stove, counters, and even the refrigerator, and honey was dripped and tracked throughout the area. In our living room, we found spaghetti sauce on our couch and blanket.  The most irritating issue was the complete disregard for our dogs' routines. Despite providing clear and concise feeding and walking schedules, Alex operated on her agenda, ignoring the agreed-upon times. This was particularly frustrating as we had specifically discussed these routines in detail. On top of all of this, half of the time Alex called one of our dogs the wrong name, she even admitted this. Our dogs name is written on the instructions, on Rover, and even posted in our home with pictures. We chose Alex based on her animal education and positive reviews. However, her education proved meaningless without the application of basic professionalism and care. We provided groceries Alex requested, $80 in cash for additional expenses, and $100 for the meet-and-greet, which was intended to be generous. We also explicitly stated she could help herself to food in our home. However, this did not extend to our toiletries, which were used without permission or even a simple request. Despite my emphasis on communication and Alex's promise of frequent updates and photos, communication was minimal and only initiated by me. Even when I specifically requested adherence to the dog walking schedule via text, the response was dismissive, followed by a complete disregard for my request. The camera footage confirms that the instructions were ignored. Alex's actions demonstrated a complete lack of respect for our home, our dogs, and our instructions. I would strongly advise against entrusting your pets and home to this individual. Their lack of professionalism, disregard for instructions, and poor communication made this experience incredibly stressful and disappointing.

Alex was so great with our dog Sydney! She even came over prior to the start of the walking day(s) to meet Sydney which put our mind at ease knowing they'd make a good match. Would definitely recommend and book again.
