Hi there! My name is Alex and I live in Howard County with my husband, my 2 girls, and our pup. We also have 2 cats that are currently with my father in law, which I absolutely adore. I have grown up around dogs, dogsitting/cat sitting for friends and family, and it always brings me so much joy. I currently work remote full time, but have a flexible schedule, so it is easy for me to go in and out throughout the day. Depending on your needs and my current work schedule, I might be a good fit for you and your fur baby. I would love to be the dog walker or pet sitter you are looking for! Alex V. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.
Alex was absolutely great! She took great care of our cat when we were away. Camden takes awhile to warm up to people, and Alex was great and patient and we came home to a very happy kitty. Alex also helped take our trash cans up and down when we were gone, which was super helpful. Her daily updates about Camden and pictures were detailed and appreciated! We would definitely hire her again to help out with Camden.
Alex did a wonderful job with my 2 dogs. We weren’t able to do an in-person meet and greet before the booking, but she did a great job with my nervous chihuahua and even got her to eat (which she usually won’t for others). She took a lot of great photos and provided a detailed description of her visit. 1000% recommend!
Alex was great with drop in visits this week, for our new puppy Dash! He loved spending time with her! Would highly recommend Alex 😊
Alex is bringing my anxious pup out of his shell! She’s super gentle with him. It’s so reassuring to have someone around to help with my dogs in a way that I don’t have to worry about anything!
Alex is absolutely lovely!! She has such a warm and caring energy. I have one very anxious dog, and one hyperenergenetic dog, and Alex was great with both! I'm lucky to have found her in my area and we'll be rebooking for sure.

Schedule
I currently work remote full time, so I am flexible and can go in and out throughout the day. Depending on my meeting schedule, I could be a good fit for you and your pet!

Safety, trust & environment
I am willing to take your pup on a walk around the neighborhood if that is something that they are used to. I can also let them out in your yard if there is a fence (we do both with my pup, so I am comfortable doing either). I can also feed them if that is necessary. If you want me to sit for your dog in my home, I do also have 2 little girls in addition to my 1 pup. My girls are great around animals as they’ve grown up with them, but want to make sure your pup would be comfortable around them as well. With cats, I am flexible on what you might need.

A typical day
My pups love living in Columbia because of all the trails we have access to. We frequently walk the Jackson Pond loop right near my house. I also love to take them for a ride and head over to centennial park for a long adventure.
