For the past 17 years, dogs and cats have been a central part of my life. I've owned six dogs and my husband and I currently share our home with four cats, giving me extensive hands-on experience with pets of different ages, temperaments, and care needs. Although my two beloved dogs recently passed away and I'm not quite ready to welcome new dogs of my own, I still love being around them and find so much happiness in caring for them. Over the years, I've worked with foster programs through veterinary offices and animal services, helping provide safe, loving homes and care for dogs in need. I've also regularly cared for dogs and cats for friends and family, from energetic puppies who need guidance and playtime to senior pets who benefit from extra patience and attention. Every stage of a pet's life brings something special, and I truly enjoy providing the love, care, and companionship that helps them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. I'm also very active and walk about 3 miles each day, so I’m happy to bring energetic dogs along for exercise and outdoor time. For pets who prefer a slower pace, I’m equally happy to let them relax at home and enjoy a comfortable, low-key environment. I strive to tailor my care to each pet’s individual personality, energy level, and needs so they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

When caring for your pet, my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment that feels as close to home as possible. I treat every pet as if they were my own and take the time to learn their unique routines, preferences, and needs. I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and household rules, and I pride myself on being highly attentive to detail. My home features tile flooring throughout, making it clean, sanitary, and pet-friendly, and my fully enclosed backyard provides a secure space for dogs to safely enjoy outdoor time. Cleanliness is very important to me, and I maintain a tidy environment while ensuring food areas, water bowls, litter boxes, and pet spaces are kept fresh and well cared for. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, quiet companionship, or sticking to a familiar routine, they will receive patient, attentive care and plenty of affection while you're away.

A typical day
I love spending quality time with every pet and will tailor my care to their personality and needs. Whether your pet is energetic or prefers a calm environment, I'm happy to provide the attention they enjoy. For dogs, I can take them on walks, play fetch or other games, provide plenty of pets and affection, and make sure they get exercise and enrichment. For cats, I enjoy playing with interactive toys, brushing them (if they enjoy it), giving them lots of attention and cuddles, and respecting their space when they prefer quiet companionship. If your pet simply enjoys having someone nearby, I'm also happy to relax with them, keep them company, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel as happy and cared for as they do with their own family.
