I know the feeling of trying to find the right person to look after my pet, which is why I’m here to provide you with the reassurance that your pet will be as well cared for as my own! I rescued my cat Pippa at 3 weeks old, and we’ve been joint at the hip ever since! I’ve always owned cats and small animals, and I’ve also spent lots of time caring for dogs, too. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I have experience with many breeds including (but not limited to) Golden Retriever, Collie, Irish Setter, Dalmatian, Cairn Terrier, Burnese mountain dog, French Bulldog, Dachshund, Cocker Spaniel, Maltese, Cockapoo, Lurcher, Pug, Pointer and more. I only offer drop in visits as I own a cat. When I am in your home, I am calm and approachable as to not excite the pet too much! But we can still play and have cuddles :)

Bertie had the pleasure of spending a day with Alex and it worked out perfectly. Alex was welcoming, warm and kind and I had no hesitation to leave my dog with her for the day. Updates and photos showed that Bertie had made himself comfortable and was enjoying his new environment. When I went to collect him he was enjoying the extra attention that he was receiving from Alex’s husband, who again was an absolute pleasure to meet. I will definitely be booking with Alex again in the future. ??
Alex took perfect care of Molly over the Christmas break. Lots of outdoor walks and attention. I think Molly wanted to stay longer… ;-) Will definitely be in touch for future vacations.
Alex was fantastic throughout the process. Great communication before Bruce went to stay and she updated us with plenty of photos whilst we were away. She had kindly defrosted sufficient dog food to allow us to feed Bruce on the day we picked him up and the day after.. great foresight! Overall, we would highly recommend Alex as a dog sitter and we will definitely be asking her to look after Bruce in the future.
Alex is honestly such a sweetie when it comes to caring for our beloved fur babies! I have a three and a half year old very timid but energetic Dalmatian and Alex was very patient and kind with her, giving her space to say hello and greet her in her own time. Now my Daisy honestly can't get enough of her! Alex is always willing to play and cuddle and her care is so reliable too. I would highly recommend her if you are needing to board your babies.

Schedule
I have recently left my role as a Midwife and I am now a mortgage advisor working at home during weekdays. I provide morning, lunchtime and/or afternoon walks.
