I've had the pleasure of owning two dogs and one cat throughout my life, and I've grown up around a wide variety of dog and cat breeds. Because of that, I'm comfortable caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels. One thing that sets me apart is that my current dog is a show dog. Caring for a show dog has taught me the importance of maintaining a consistent routine, paying close attention to grooming and overall health, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet day of cuddles, I'll provide patient, attentive care and treat them as if they were my own.

I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I make it a priority to stick to it. I'm experienced with crate training, maintaining strict feeding schedules, and accommodating dietary restrictions, as my own dog follows a structured routine. Whether your pet requires medications, extra patience, or specific instructions, I'm happy to follow your care plan exactly as requested. I also have reliable transportation, so I'm happy to take your dog on a field trip to a local park, trail, or other pet-friendly location if you'd like. In both my home and yours, I strive to create a safe, calm, and loving environment where your pet feels comfortable and well cared for. I'm also flexible and understand that emergencies happen, so I'll do my best to accommodate last-minute changes or unexpected situations whenever possible.

Alex was great with my two labs. She sent updates daily and paid great attention to them. Communication was great and she was a tremendous help.
Alex has cared for our boys (dogs) more than once. She is trustworthy and reliable! Our boys love her and you can tell she truly cares about them. She loves on them, goes the extra mile to give them the attention and care they want, even catering to their special idiosyncrasies. We are selective with who gets to care for our dogs, and never hesitate to ask Alex if she is available. We feel completely comfortable having Alex in our home as well. Alex is quick to respond to communications and happy to send pictures of our dogs so we can check in with them.
Alex is wonderful with our dog. She is very comfortable around him even though he is a large active pooch. Our dog loves playing with her.
Alex is very responsible and trustworthy. My cat, Meow, was very well taken care of and loved while she was staying with her. Alex also took very good care of my house while watching her too. Would highly recommend for anyone!

Schedule
I'm currently in between careers, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your dogs and/or cats. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, or last-minute bookings whenever possible. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. Whether your pet needs an energetic play session, a relaxing walk, or just some extra love and attention, I'll make sure they receive the care they deserve.
