I am currently working part time, so I am very adaptable with regards to your pets and their respective routines. I have an active lifestyle and a nurturing personality, so I get alot out of taking care of animals, especially those with special needs.

I will provide services preferably in other homes only. However, small dogs (less than 25) pounds can be hosted in my comfy apartment. I have a cat that is well socialized with other animals, having been raised in a dog home and previously living with two other cats. I have never seen him hiss or swat another animal.

A typical day
I love to play with animals as I'm getting to know them. This could mean hiding treats inside of boxes/bags, hide and seek, or going for a quick run on the leash depending on the physical capabilities of the animal. I also love to sit on the couch and watch TV as I can bond with them.

Hey there! My name is Alex. I do many different things for work, all of which bring me joy on some level. I work in various restaurant and bar related jobs. I am also studying part time, working towards a nursing degree. I have an active outdoor lifestyle and love to share my time outside with dogs that need exercise. I also like to take dogs for walks- I am flexible and will adapt to the needs of the animal. I have had dogs on and off throughout my life. Although my current living situation does not allow me to have dogs of my own, I jump at opportunities to take care of other people's dogs. I currently have a cat and can similarly offer my services to take care of cats with more complex medical conditions, having plenty of experience administering insulin and respiratory medications. My cat has diabetes and asthma, and I've succeeded in managing both.

Thank you Alex so much for taking care of our cats while we were out of town! Alex was very sweet and patient with our cats, letting them warm up to him and eventually becoming good pals! Alex adores animals. His diabetic and formerly chonky cat Eli struck gold when Alex adopted him. Now Eli is aging backwards thanks to Alex’s dedicated care. Alex is a kind, responsible, and respectful person. He works hard to take care of others, animals and humans alike. Truly a gentle soul!
