Pet care experience

Experienced & attentive caregiver

~ Over 20 years of experience as a pet care provider. Shy and fearful pets are welcomed! ~ Additionally insured through Pet Sitters Associates, and certified in pet first aid and CPR. ~ I only work in cigarette-free homes. My dog experience includes overnight pet sitting, managing dog day care groups, and walking dogs in the city as well as leading off-leash pack hikes. I've worked with various breeds, sizes, temperaments and stages of life, and I enjoy tailoring care to meet your pet's individual needs. My general approach with any pet is to give them space and time to let them approach me at the speed of trust. I look forward to sharing my care and attention with your pet <3

Safety, trust & environment

I'm a reliable, communicative, and down-to-earth individual who will look after your pets and home with the utmost attentiveness, and respect for your privacy and property. - I follow directions well and it's a priority to maintain your pet's routine to help him/her feel better adjusted to you being away. - My rate includes cleaning up after your pet and myself, taking out trash/recycling/compost bins, retrieving mail and packages, and simple plant or yard watering. - The only drawers and cabinets I will open are in the kitchen as I often cook simply during overnights. - I will ask you first before bringing a guest into your home. I don't throw parties-gatherings in my own home so they won't be happening at yours.

- Your pet's daily routine (e.g. at what times are meals, walks, yard let outs, etc?) - How long is your pet accustomed to being home alone during the day? - How does your pet usually respond to new people in the home? - In the past, how has your pet responded to you being gone, and to being with a sitter? - Any special needs, or behavioral and health considerations? E.g. medication, allergies, triggers, quirks, separation anxiety, destructive behavior, reactivity, barking, over-excitement, resource guarding, etc. - How does your pet interact with new people and other animals? - Tell me about your dog on a walk. Think about triggers, walking style (e.g. pulls, chews leash, doesn't like to walk), behaviors (e.g. likes to eat things on the street), things to avoid, etc.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
