I have a big fenced in backyard that my two dogs roam around during the warmer months. They have access to a covered back porch and can easily get back inside via a doggy door. In the colder months they stay inside and go out as needed.

A typical day
I love to hike with my two dogs so it would be great to take yours on one. I typically take them to Sweet water creek state park or kennesaw mountain as those are pretty dog friendly.

Pet care experience
Do you have a big dog that has a lot of energy? Let me take them for a long walk, or throw the ball around in the backyard. I have two dogs and a few cat currently. My nine year old Blue Heeler, Carmen San Diego was leash/harness trained and hiking up and down kennesaw mountain before the age of one. I had her fetching by the time she was eight weeks old. She’s been to over 30 states and has hiked the Rocky Mountains in 4 of them. My other good boy is another blue heeler, Donkey Kong, a ball of energy. He is also harness trained and loves to hike and play fetch. He’s only four but he’s been out to Montana with us too.

One of my dogs is very hyper and the other is an attention seeker, handling both is a handful! Alex is my go-to sitter because he takes special care of them. I've had meet and greets with other Rover sitters but it never worked out with anyone else. Alex plays with them, is respectful of the order of the house, and keeps good contact with me. Thank you again, Alex!
This is the second time Alex has watched my dogs for me and he did a great job! The dogs always looked happy in all the picture updates, my house was well taken care of, and honestly my dogs weren't that interested in seeing me when I came home because I'm pretty sure they were looking for Alex :) I would recommend him to watch your dogs too.
Alex was great with my two dogs while I was away. He gave me updates in a timely manner and made sure my pups needs were met.
Alex is a great pet caregiver! He has watched and cared for our two cats while we were out of town. He did an excellent job and kept us updated while we were away. We really enjoyed our vacation since we knew our babies were well cared for. I've also witnessed Alex's interactions and caring for multiple dog/ dog breeds. He takes his own dog, Carmen, on hikes frequently. When he brings Carmen to visit, he takes her to a local dog park to get some exercise since our yard is small. He ensures dogs under is care have all their needs met. Alex would be an excellent addition to the Rover team.
