Fun, Flexible, Fail-Safe Petsitter
During my 11 years of petsitting, I've had the opportunity to feed, walk, bathe and care for wee beasts of all shapes and sizes. Whether tending to puppies and kittens, or more mature furry friends, I've wholeheartedly enjoyed my time and learned a lot along the way - how to build trust with an animal and establish boundaries; how to administer medications in a safe, healthy way; and more.

Though I do not board pets in my own home, as I have a 14-year-old Siberian Forest Cat who prefers the space to herself, when staying in a client's home, I always treat the space - and the wee beast(s) within - as if it were my own. Safety is a priority for me - remaining vigilant, not only on walks but in the home as well.

Alex has been great with walks for our Golden! She is reliable, trustworthy, and a bit of a dog whisperer!
Alex is wonderful with my dog! My dog needs some training and redirection on walks, and Alex handles him perfectly.
Followed all instructions and was great with our high-energy pup!
Alex is great!! So sweet and natural with my pup Moby.
Alex really bonds with animals. She is a favorite of our dog Rex. We are very particular about who takes care of him when we travel (and so is he!), and he is always happy to see Alex and seems totally comfortable staying with her. We won't leave him with anybody who makes him anxious, and Alex certainly never does! We have always found Alex to be trustworthy & responsible. I don't hesitate to recommend her.

Schedule
I'm currently working part-time, after graduating from American University in Washington, D.C. this past May, so I have a lot of spare time to spend tending to your furry friend(s). I can be available for housesitting, drop-in visits and/or dog walking anytime throughout the week, and am incredibly flexible.
