I am currently working at a vet clinic open 7am-7pm Monday-Friday and 7-4 on Saturdays. My hours are not set but I usually work around 30 hours/wk and can bring animals to work if they need frequent care.

If the dog is younger with lots of energy we will do long walks (I do go on the occasional run as well!) and lots of toy time and entertainment. If it’s an older dog, i’ll be making sure they’re comfortable and have all of their needs met, while still making sure they get up and move their body around.

Plenty of walks in many different new places. play time in between walks! We will eat dinner together and snuggle on the couch before bed :)

I have been working at VCA Brown Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant since May 2024. I have lots of knowledge pertaining to keeping pets safe, happy and healthy. I have been dog/cat sitting since I was 15 years old for family/friends and have always loved spending time with animals.

alex was great! super easy to communicate with and kept me updated throughout the stay. seemed like cherry had a great time :) and my home was spotless when i got back!
Alex cared for our elderly pug and two cats while we were away. She did an excellent job! She loves animals, and has a calm demeanor. Our pets were comfortable with Alex. She was our go to pet sitter until we moved out of state.
Alex is a great lover of animals. She grew up with dogs and cats and always helped to care for them. We had one dog that was afraid of fireworks and thunderstorms and would always look to Alex for comfort during those times. She has always been gentle and caring with our pets and any others that we would encounter in public. We taught her early to respect the pet owners as well and always get permission to approach new animals.
