Your Go-To Doggie Couple
Monica and I both learned from a very young age that we have a deep love for dogs which is why we love the boarding process with Rover but also understand the uneasiness that can come from leaving your dog with a stranger. This is why we only take dogs if we are able to do a meet and greet at our house beforehand (both for the pup and the owner) and also only take one dog at a time to board. We have our own GSP dog, Coco, who is a sweet girl that we love very much. We have a massive, fenced-in backyard and plenty of dog beds and toys that the pups can share and play with during their stay in our home. While taking care of your pup, know that we believe the best way to train/build trust with a dog is through a lot of love, extreme patience, and plenty of treats and cuddles (while also understanding a dog’s boundaries.) Bentley stayed with Alex and Monica for two weeks while I was out of the country. Alex sent updates everyday without me having to ask and answered my questions right away if I had any during Bentleys stay. They were caring and attentive with Bentley, making him feel right at home. Bentley returned to me happy and relaxed. Alex had all of Bentleys belongings organized and ready to go for pick up. Which I appreciated after traveling for almost 24 hours. I highly recommend them to watch your fur babies if you are going on extended vacations (: Thanks again Alex and Monica !
Bentleys third visit with Chris and Monica went very well! Bentley looked like he was right at home in his photo updates. I look forward to having them watch him for my upcoming trip.
Alex & Monica took excellent care of Barkley. Each day, they send pictures of their walks, walking alongside their dog. As a recurring sitter, when dropping off Barkley, he gets excited when seeing their house. They go out of their way with all the small things to ensure he is comfortable in his stay. I highly recommend Alex & Monica to others looking for trustworthy and responsible sitters.
Bentley always starts off nervous because he has separation anxiety at times, but Chris and Monica make sure he is relaxed. Bentley seems to enjoy spending most of his time with Chris while he works in the office, they are work buddies now. (: Also, I appreciate the updates provided during bentleys stay keeping me in the loop!
Alex and Monica are great friendly people! Alex was the main sitter for Bentleys first daycare stay with them. Alex had great communication and provided numerous updates. Bentley came home calm and slept well from his fun day visit with Coco.
Alex and Monica are the best!! This is the second time my pup stayed with them and he was so well taken care of! They sent many pics and videos, highly recommend!

Schedule
I, Alex, work fully remote from our home in South Austin Monday-Friday. Coco’s regular schedule consists of walks during lunch or after Monica gets home and two feeds a day. We also give Coco access to outside when she wants throughout the work days but she stays inside while we are away from the house. Happy to bring your pup into the fold or walk/work with separately if needed.

I believe the best way to build a relationship with dogs is love, patience, trust and plenty of treats! In my experience, it’s always best to come in with a willingness to wait and understanding that dogs will be dogs.

Walking, fetch, zoomies in the backyard, trips to go get a pup cup, going to a nearby park or a trip to lady bird lake to walk around!
