I’m a 19-year-old university student who has grown up surrounded by animals and genuinely loves caring for them. I have plenty of free time around my studies, so I’m able to offer flexible and reliable pet care. I’ve spent many of my summer holidays walking dogs for family and friends, keeping myself busy while doing something I truly enjoy. I’m also on my own fitness journey, so getting out for longer walks is something I actively enjoy — making dog walking a perfect combination of exercise, fresh air and spending time with animals. I’m comfortable around animals of all ages and personalities, and my experience goes beyond dogs: my cat has kittens several times a year, so I’m very familiar with caring for young, delicate animals and understand the patience, gentleness and attention they need. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, loved and well cared for while they’re with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden, safe home and smoke-free environment. My cat is outdoors for most of the day, but is friendly and has been around dogs many times before with no issue. Whether your dog wants a two-hour adventure, a game of fetch in the garden, or simply someone to curl up beside, I’m happy to work around what makes them comfortable. If you choose me to take care of your furry friend, I guarantee regular updates, photos, my undivided attention and fast reply rates.

Alex was an excellent pet sitter for me. Not only did she make me feel extremely comfortable with her around my two dogs, but she also made sure to check in throughout the night and update me on my dogs wellbeing. They absolutely adored her as well, and I had to ask her to come back again so they could spend more time with her. She is clearly a very attentive carer and an avid pet lover, and she absolutely deserved every penny she was paid.

Schedule
As a university student, my schedule can be more flexible than a typical 9–5, meaning I can often give your dog plenty of time and attention throughout the day. Pet care serves as a wonderful break from my studies and allows me to spend time with animals which is my favourite hobby.
