I currently work from about 7am to 5/6pm, Tuesdays-Fridays. If you want a sitter on those days, no worries! I only say I’m “unavailable” so it’s understood that I will be busy for a lot of the day. I’m always open to discussing schedules and what works for you! Especially when asked in advance I have no problem changing up my schedule. I do this to make a living but I want to make time for it because I love it!

I am always kind and caring toward any animal I’m around, to the point where you can’t describe me as anything but a hippie. Pets are just friends that I feed and play with. I also understand that animals have different personalities and while some are quick to trust and touch I understand that others are very much not. I’ve learned how to be very patient in cases like that.

I love to go to any park near me whether that means exploring somewhere new or going somewhere I know and love. I enjoy exploring the city in my free time and I wouldn’t mind having a furry friend join me. I am also a working musician and I find it extremely fun to sing (at a reasonable volume) to animals like they’re my little audience (I choose to believe that they love it :).

Growing up I’ve always had a dog and/or a cat, now my childhood home has 4 dogs plus 2 cats! Other than the 6 at home I have lots of experience watching my younger brothers and helping friends when they dog sit. I would love more experience with pit bulls because they’re my favorite breed (big dogs in general tend to be my favorites)! I have enough experience with them to feel confident to take care of them but I’d definitely love to grow in that area.

Alex did an amazing job!
Alex was great! Our two dogs were happy and well cared for when we came back, and Alex received our (overly) detailed instructions well and did a great job all around.
Alex took great care of Parker on their overnight stay together. She arrived on time and sent cute pics the next day. Would recommend her. Parker was safe and well cared for. Thanks Alex!
Our pets are pretty shy and anxious, and Alex does a wonderful job of respecting their boundaries, making sure they are taken care of, and communicating with us!
