Hi there! I'm Alex. I’m a long time pet owner of many different animals. Having a father as a vet, I've grown up and been around all types of animals ever since I was born. I’ve had dogs my entire life, and lived with cats, rats, and hamsters. 6 years ago, I began providing care over Rover because I missed having animal companionship from my family dog. However, since offering pet care for the past 6 years, and becoming a dog parent myself, I know how hard that decision is to have someone else care for your pet while you are unable to do so. I am here to provide reliable and responsible pet care, that I would want for my own dog. I provide a fear-free environment for your pet. For dogs, I won’t let your dog say hi to other dogs on walks (unless otherwise directed) and I don’t take your dog to dog parks. For cats, I let them lead the way and let them choose their interactions with me to ensure they are comfortable with every interaction we have. For every animal I care for, I carefully listen to what YOU, as a client, want for your own animal just as I would want for my own dog. Please note, for my daycare service, I do not have your dog stay with me in my home, and instead I offer daycare at your home! This way your pup can stay comfortable in their home, with less changes to their routine! During daycare hours, I provide your pup with lots of attention, love and playtime.
