I have been surrounded by animals for most of my life and I love to help them live their best lives! I studied pre-veterinary biology for two years, so I know about the science behind animals as well as understanding their basic care and needs. I am very good at matching the energy level of any animal and I have a special passion for exotic animals (but of course I love dogs and cats too!). I am experienced in giving medication and I do not shy away from cleaning up any and all messes that they may make.

I feel that I am a very easy person to work with and I will follow any and all guidelines or rules that you present to me. I will also help with house cleaning if you would like that, in addition to cleaning up after your pet(s).

We were lucky enough to book Alex for two weekends in July! Having consistent care for our pup, who struggles with some separation anxiety, was a huge relief. Alex was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about our dog. We came home to a happy pup and a well-cared-for house. Highly recommend!
Alex was fantastic! She was a great communicator, sending daily updates and photos that gave us peace of mind while we were away. Meeko was clearly happy, well cared for, and comfortable with her. Alex is FANTASTIC. Would highly recommend. My partner and I had her house sit and take care of our big dog (who can be reactive) while we were away and she did amazing. We got daily updates, pictures of their adventures, and the house looked incredible when we got back. We will definitely be hiring her again!

Schedule
I am currently a student at Cal Poly Humboldt and I have a lot of breaks in my class schedule. For house sitting, I would only be out of the house for 2-4 hours at a time for classes on weekdays and would be able to stay all day on weekends. My schedule is also perfect for drop ins and potty breaks.
