Just a girl looking for a pet to love
I've been a professional pet sitter for over 2 years now, so I know a vast majority of the Richmond and Twickenham cat and dog population! I'm well known and trusted, and absolutely animal obsessed. I grew up with cats and dogs in South Africa and miss the company of pets greatly, making Rover a dream job.

I have a deep love for cats and dogs and can stay home all day with them while working on my laptop. I love the animal company while working remotely and the excuse to go out for walks during the day.

Alex was so great with Gwennie! She dropped over to say hi and introduce herself which made Gwen and and I both at ease. Alex made sure Gwennie was fed, walked, watered and snuggled while I was out for the eve - returning to a very happy puppy. Thank You Alex!
We can’t thank Alex enough for taking such wonderful care of Zola and Bruno. They’re not the easiest pair to look after! Zola is a 10-month-old Golden Retriever with endless energy and absolutely no concept of impulse control, so she can be quite a handful. Bruno is a rescue who had only been with us for a week before we left, so he was still settling in and dealing with an upset tummy. Alex was fantastic throughout. She kept us regularly updated, followed all of our instructions with genuine care, and handled everything with patience and confidence. We know our dogs can be overwhelming at times, but she made us feel completely at ease knowing they were in such capable hands. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for dogs and couldn’t have asked for more. We would highly recommend Alex to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter.

Alex looked after our puppy Teddy, I thought it was lovely that she came for a pre visit ahead of her first sit. Teddy was happy and settled quickly so the Alex, Alex’s communication was great and I’m so glad I found Alex via rover and will definitely book with Alex again.
Alex has been watching my cat for the better part of the past two years and has always been great — reliable & communicative — but was so lovely & really went above and beyond this summer when I had multiple stretches of travel + a family emergency tossed into the mix; having her watching Puffin made a chaotic period much calmer as it gave me one less thing to worry about. Truly cannot recommend her highly enough!
Alex was great with Chase. They had a lovely walk together and he was well looked after. Excellent communication, on time and followed instructions for looking after Chase perfectly. Really appreciated responding at short notice too. Thanks again.

Zeitplan
I work from home as a writer for a global PR agency. My schedule is very flexible and under my control, meaning I can take dogs for walks at any time of the day aside from several occasional 30 min meetings.
