Hi! I’m Alex, a lifelong dog lover and enthusiastic trainer. Your doggo will be loved and cared for like a true pack member in my home. They will be loved and educated during their time with me. I started off with pitties as rescues but have now raised and trained a handful of Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherd dogs from a nationwide breed specific rescue group. My current best bud, Bourbon, has completed most of his obedience training and is now moving on to sport dog activities such as search and rescue. I believe that each pup and their breed characteristics require different styles of care and stimulation! Very comfortable with high energy breeds but can easily provide snuggles with the low energy ones 🫶🏽

This is our second time booking Alex and our review remains the same. Our anxiety was significantly less this time around lol. Our Leo was in the best care and introduced to new fur friends. We couldn’t be happier with the accommodations! Thank you Alex for taking care of Leo and being so generous with sharing diet tips and allowing Leo to share healthy raw meals with Bourbon (his dog.) Will be booking again soon!
I highly recommend Alex! He is extremely knowledgeable and took amazing care of my dog as if he were his own. I really appreciated how attentive he was and that he made sure my dog got the exercise he needed. It gave me great peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. Overall, an excellent experience — definitely 5 stars!
We couldn’t be happier with the care Alex gave Cooper. He took such wonderful care of our 11-month-old puppy for an entire week, and we felt completely comfortable knowing Cooper was being cared for in his home. He kept us updated, gave him lots of attention, training and treated him like he was his own. It gave us such peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend Alex and will definitely be using him again! ❤️🐾

Alex does a great job!
Alex was wonderful. I can’t recommend him enough! He took amazing care of my dog while we were away and treated her like she was his own. She can be stubborn on walks, but he was incredibly patient and somehow got her walking calmly and politely on a leash. It was obvious he genuinely cared about her and took the time to work with her instead of just watching her. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’ll definitely be using him again and would recommend him to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, knowledgeable, and great with dogs.

Schedule
I’m currently working part time for a few hours around dinner time after closing my business of 14 years, this past year. I’m available to love and have play time with your doggo throughout the day and give them the love and attention they deserve. My own K9 Bourbon is a fully trained Dutch Shepherd and is very dog neutral. We train throughout the day for fun and for structure. Your pup can join us anytime!

My home has a fenced in yard with enough room for activities and training, or just lounging on the deck with my fully trained K9 Bourbon. I have extra crates and a spare room where we can separate the pups if they need some alone time. There are multiple parks nearby and the beach as well. Summer times allows me to take my pup for a swim almost every day and we are very active with hiking excursions. As far as in home visits, you can trust that I will treat your home just like it was mine. I respect privacy and I am neat and tidy. I would try to mimic / emulate your pup’s normal routine with you, and introduce any changes slowly in order to minimize stress on your pup.

A typical day
A typical day of boarding would involve a few sessions of one on one play time/ training. Broken up with some quiet time and outside play in the yard. Meals would be planned accordingly in order to mimic your pup’s usual feeding time. If dog friendly / boarding with me, then play time and lots of interaction with my fully trained K9 Bourbon would also be in the mix. He’s trained to be dog neutral so it’s easy to use him for any training needed for your pup when it comes to socialization (whether aggressive or too timid etc).
