Your Dog’s Second Favorite Person

Looking for more than just a walk around the block? I offer group adventure hikes in the stunning regional parks of the Bay Area, giving your dog the exercise, socialization, and mental enrichment they crave. Dogs are happiest when they have a purpose—whether it's running through open trails, playing with a well-matched pack, or simply exploring new scents. My group hikes provide a structured but fun environment where dogs can channel their energy in a positive way, helping to prevent unwanted behaviors at home. Whether your pup needs to burn off extra energy, gain confidence around other dogs, or just enjoy a safe and stimulating adventure, my hikes are designed to meet your dog’s natural instincts. In addition to hiking, I also offer boarding in a home environment—a stress-free alternative to traditional kennels. Whether for a weekend or longer stays, your dog will be treated like family, with plenty of exercise, structured play, and rest. Why Choose Me? ✔️ Group Hikes in Beautiful Regional Parks – Let your dog enjoy nature the way they were meant to. ✔️ Safe & Structured Pack Play – Socialization in a controlled, positive setting. ✔️ Mental & Physical Stimulation – A tired dog is a happy, well-behaved dog. ✔️ Personalized Care – I work with each dog’s personality and needs to ensure a great experience. ✔️ Boarding with Daily Exercise – Your dog stays in a home, not a kennel, with plenty of adventure and companionship. If you’re looking for a way to give your dog the best day, every day, let’s chat! I’d love to welcome your pup into my pack.

Doggy Day Care • Sep 13, 2025

Alex is delightful to work with. He always greets Winnie with a smile & has a positive attitude about her separation anxiety, which sets me at ease. He shares updates at pick up and sends a few photos during the day. I’m hoping to continue working with him!

I am very happy to see Rocky was running wild and free when Alex took him to open field sometimes. Very appreciated! Would book him again!

This was our first meeting with Alex and he was excellent! Our dog loved him instantly and he spent quality time getting to know her and our family’s needs before their first walk. We love that he has experience with big dogs and knows the area well. I so appreciated that he asked or answered all the questions that were on my mind. We look forward to working with him long term!

Jack is a sensitive and intelligent gigantic baby dog. He met Alex and went on a walk first day. Now he goes twice a week and today he was hopping like a bunny and doing zoomies when Alex's car pulled up. I am fearful and worried about who I let care for my dogs, but I haven't been disappointed; I feel safe when he's with Alex and I also feel like he's being treated like he would be treated by family. Jack gets to meet new dogs, which he loves, he goes on stiff walks, and gets to run at the park. Alex has helped us keep Jack Jack regulated and stimulated, and I'm very grateful.

To ensure the best experience for your pup, I take the time to understand their unique personality, needs, and routine. Before joining a group hike or staying for boarding, here are a few key details I’d love to know: ? Temperament & Socialization How does your dog interact with other dogs and new people? Do they have any past experiences in group settings (dog parks, playdates, daycare, etc.)? Are they more playful, shy, or independent? ? Energy Level & Exercise Needs Do they prefer long hikes and running, or are they more of a casual walker? How often do they typically exercise? ? Training & Behavior Do they have reliable recall, leash manners, or basic commands? Any specific behaviors to watch for (reactivity, jumping, herding tendencies, etc.)? ? Health & Special Care Any allergies, medical conditions, or past injuries? Are they on medications or require special feeding routines? ? Boarding-Specific Needs Are they crate-trained or prefer free-roaming? Do they have separation anxiety or need extra comfort at night? Sharing these details helps me provide a safe, fun, and tailored experience for your pup—whether they’re exploring the trails or settling in for a stay. Let’s set them up for success!
