Hi, I’m Alex - a reliable, caring dog sitter who understands that dogs aren’t “just pets”, they’re family. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you can genuinely trust, so I focus on making dogs feel safe, comfortable, loved and understood while you’re away. I have hands-on experience with a strong-willed, sensitive dog of my own, which has taught me a huge amount about dog behaviour, body language, routines, emotional regulation and building trust. Because of that, I’m especially attentive to each dog’s individual personality and needs, whether they’re energetic, anxious, reactive, cuddly, independent or just need a calm environment and consistency.

I’ll always follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, including walks, feeding, sleep setup, medication, boundaries and training cues, because I know familiarity helps dogs feel safe, settled and secure. I also understand how important it is for owners to feel confident that their dog is being cared for in the way they’re used to. I’m DBS checked, reliable and detail-oriented, and I’ll always treat your dog with the same care, patience and affection I would my own. I’ll also respect your home and keep everything clean, safe and well looked after while I’m there.

Schedule
I work from home, so I’m flexible and able to keep dogs company, maintain their routine and give them plenty of attention and care throughout the day.

Helpful things to know include: • Their walk routine and energy levels • Feeding schedule and any dietary requirements • Recall, lead manners or training cues you use • Any anxieties, fears or triggers • How they are around other dogs, people or animals • Any medical conditions, medication or allergies • Sleeping arrangements and comfort routines • Anything that helps them settle and feel at ease The more I understand about your dog, the better I can tailor their care and keep things familiar and stress-free for them while you’re away.
