Hi there, I can’t wait to meet your dogs!
I've been around dogs since I was born, older dogs and puppies, so I am comfortable with dogs of any age and most sizes! I love getting out in any weather for walks, and am comfortable taking more energetic dogs for longer walks if required. I also have some experience pet sitting dogs who require medication and am comfortable with doing so if needed.

Absolutely fantastic, from the moment you meet Alex and his partner you feel at ease leaving your furry friend. Alex dropped us some photos to reassure us all was well and as we don’t normally leave our dog it was really welcomed. We would highly recommend Thank you again 🤩

Alex looked after our crazy little lad Merlin perfectly. He’s very contactable and reliable, as well as being a genuine guy. I trust him implicitly. He sent photo updates regularly as he took Merlin on a great long walk. Safe to say Merlin was thoroughly unimpressed when I picked him up at the end of the day, he didn’t want to leave at all! I’d 100% recommend Alex 👍
Alex was looking after our mini daschund Mia. He picked her up, looked after her during whole day and dropped her off at our place. He sent timely updates throughout and the dog was in very happy mood when he brought her back. I highly recommend Alex!
Alex is kind and caring with the energy that dogs need on walks and for attention in the home. Alex has always loved dogs and has a lot of love to give to dogs of all sizes and breeds. I have left my cockapoo in Alex’s care on several occasions and he always comes back happy and ready for a rest! Alex looked after my dog during a brief period of medication, which he was happy to help with no issues.

Schedule
I currently work for the National Trust along the North Norfolk coast. I have previously worked as a marine biologist for various charities where I have experience in wild animal handling, so I am fairly confident in looking after most pets. I'm an early riser and enjoy walking in the morning and would welcome a walking companion! My fiancée (who would also be helping dogsit) is also a dog lover. Jess has grown up with dogs as pets, and also worked at her uncles dog kennels - so has plenty of experience with lots of different dogs! (Jess is also on Rover as a verified sitter).

Safety, trust & environment
I am very careful about the environment I would introduce a dog to and make sure they are comfortable, calm and don't feel overwhelmed. I have a large garden, but have lots of walks just nearby too. I think having a dogs trust is vital so I always like to meet a dog before a stay if possible and allow them to approach me at their own pace without stressing them out.
A typical day
I have lots of walks of varying lengths available from my house including stretches of the coast, beaches and several big parks. If I am looking after your dog for an extended period I am always keen to drive us to somewhere new for more of an adventure!
