I have been taking care of dogs since I was a small child and have been a pet owner for over 20 years. I grew up an only child with dogs, and prefer them to people! Andrea is an Animal Science PhD student with a bachelor’s in zootechnics. She has 8 years of experience with both large and small animals and breeds. Bilingual: English, Spanish

Alex did a great job taking care of Pluto. We got a lot of snow and she was more than happy to play outside with her. She had excellent communication the whole time Pluto was in her care and sent photos and videos!
Very flexible and accommodating with scheduling- I needed a last minute sitter and they were able to take Mira. Their dog was very friendly and sweet and Mira was well cared for throughout the day. I got several pictures of her lounging on the couch.
This sitter was an excellent communicator, shared lots of information and pictures with me throughout the stay, and was very flexible with my and my dog's needs. Would highly recommend, especially if your dog needs a play mate!

Schedule
I work remotely from home so I am able to show as much attention and care to your pet as needed. I also take my dog for a run/walks everyday and would be happy to include yours.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully fenced in yard and an extremely friendly dog of our own to keep your pet company and provide exercise during the stay. We live within a mile of downtown Ames.

A typical day
We play fetch in our back yard and regularly go for runs/walks. Our dog, Nala, is also around to keep your pets active and socialized.
