Dog walking and pet sitting is my full time job, so I'm normally available 24/7, which is great for especially anxious pets. During overnight care I will only leave pets alone for groceries and other regular dog walks, I can keep this to a maximum of 1 hour. We often joke I was raised by dogs, as I grew up alongside 2 Belgian shepherds. Throughout childhood we had as many as 3 dogs and 5 cats at a time, so I understand their temperament as well (if not better) than I understand humans. I have owned 3 great Danes so understand the needs of giant breeds and strong dogs on a lead. I have experience with pet sitting a variety of animals, including cats, dogs, hamsters, birds, fish, tortoises, giant African land snails and stick insects! I love every pet as if they're my own.

I can offer care for reactive dogs, or pets with special needs. I have experience with blind and deaf dogs, dogs and cats with lost limbs, and pets requiring medication.

Alex does drop-in visits for our puppy while I’m at work, and Luna absolutely loves the time she spends with her! 🐾 Alex always keeps me updated during each visit with lovely, detailed messages and fun photos, which really puts my mind at ease knowing Luna is in safe hands. I’d highly recommend Alex to anyone looking for someone caring and reliable to look after their fluffy family member!
We are very happy to have found Alex. She has looked after our 2 dogs wonderfully, especially as it has been during a heatwave. She has been getting up early to take them out and waited until late evening for their 2nd walk. She has even had the paddling pool out for them. She gets to know the dogs very well and keeps you well updated with how they are. The dogs love her. The house is left very clean and tidy. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will definitely use again. Thank you so much, Alex ☺️
Alex was brilliant from the minute we booked with her right through to us getting back home from a family holiday to our beloved pooches! We had completely reassurance throughout with pictures and regular updates, one of our dogs is elderly so was rather worried about him before leaving as he has a couple of ailments, however he was in perfect hands with Alex and we wouldnt hesitate to have her stay with our dogs again. In fact they insist!! Thank you Alex for everything! ❤️
What can I say...Alex looked after my fur baby, Soxy just as I would do myself (oh and my tropical fish tank too.) Feeding and medication regime stuck to each day and taken care of with ease. Photos and message update frequency perfect and exactly as I asked for. Soxy looked great on my return from holiday - no weight loss, no fur pulling...exactly as I left my pretty princess. I'd definitely say that Alex is a trusted member of Soxy's inner circle now...and therefore mine too. I was apprehensive about inviting a stranger into my home, but I need not have been. If I have the need again, Alex will be my first call. Alex - thank you for being there for Soxy when I couldn't be.
Alex is great with Kala and communicates really well with me to update me on the visits. I have great peace of mind knowing Alex will be visiting and my pup will be getting some excellent play time
