About Alex F.
Communication
Dog skills
Safety, trust & environment
My pets are the definition of spoiled rotten so that will transfer over to my client's pets as well but every pet has different needs and I love discovering their personalities and quirks. Personal Safety disclaimer: if we are unable to have a meet and greet beforehand but go through with the booking for a walk, I will be bringing my husband with me to the walk to ensure my own safety. If your dog is uncomfortable with men I 100% understand and we will adjust for everyone's comfort.
Information Alex F. would like to know about your pet
I don't have any breed/size preference. Please no females in heat. If there's a regular route you like to take on their walks, that's something we can discuss. Scheduling Note: If you are going out of town and don't have plans for someone to check in on your dog(s) in the morning/afternoon please schedule at least 2 drops in a day. Expecting a dog to hold their bladder for 24 hours is unrealistic in every situation unless they have unrestricted access to a yard. Thank you!
A typical day
A walk with me is either a new adventure or a casual walk around the neighborhood. If it's raining or gross out I will usually do a quick potty break followed by plenty of loves and maybe some mental game/basic training

Your new favorite dog walker
Pet care experience
I have always been my families "go to" dog person and a dog walker for so many dogs across multiple states. I completed my ABCDTC (dog training certification) March 2018 and my CPACP (animal care provider certification) April 2018 but have since let both expire. I worked at a doggie daycare turned K9 activity center for 3 years and want to continue being around animals but I no longer do anything professional in the canine world outside of Rover. I have two cats and a senior anxious husky at home that I love and can't stop taking photos of so I don't accept housesitting/overnight jobs anymore.
Reviews

Alex was amazing! She took great care of my kitty while I was out of town. She even went as far as to feed the outdoor squirrels for me, so he could watch them out the window. She kept me informed with how he was doing and sent lots of pics. I would definitely use Alex again the the future.
Alex F. cancelled a booking within a day of the start date.

Alex once again is absolutely amazing. So reliable and comes through last minute to watch my kitty!! My cat absolutely loves her. <3

Alex goes above and beyond. She made herself available to watch Teddy last minute and the photos she takes are some of the best action shots I have of him! Shes wonderful and we love her!!
