I’m a WFH software engineer with a flexible schedule, so your pets get plenty of attention and a consistent presence all day. I prioritize house sitting since most pets feel safest in their own home, but I also offer a clean, pet-friendly space for boarding when preferred. I’m extremely tidy, respectful of your home, and careful about routines. Whether it’s an energetic dog, a shy cat, or a multi-pet household, I’m calm, attentive, and focused on keeping everyone comfortable. For dogs who need exercise, I’m active and happy to take long walks (there’s a great trail behind my place!). You’ll get consistent updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal: happy pets and a home exactly as you left it.

Safety, trust & environment
I'm extremely clean and respectful of any space I'm in. Safety is always my priority, and I take care not to leave anything out that any animals could get into, and to leave everything as you left it! In my own home I have baby locks on the cabinets and all trash secured, to make sure no one eats something they shouldn't. I'm very familiar with the vets in the area, and live less than 3 minutes away from nearest vet, 5 minutes away from 2 others and all have full surgical and emergency facilities if needed.

Alex was great. She took good care of our anxious guy left our place on great shape, and we had lots of communication throughout.
Alex sat for my dog Tucker for a few days and was genuinely one of the best sitters we've had. She sent detailed updates multiple times a day — morning, midday, afternoon, and before bed — always with photos, so I never had to wonder how he was doing. She was meticulous about the details: tracking his walks, measuring food portions, monitoring his water intake, and making sure he got his joint medication. When Tucker had trouble settling one night, she figured out he was barking at something outside, covered the window with pillows, and stayed with him until he calmed down. She also remembered he wasn't great with other dogs and avoided engaging with a neighbor's dog on a walk — exactly the kind of attentiveness you hope for but don't always get. What really stood out was her initiative beyond just the basics. She asked if we wanted her to bring in the garbage cans from the driveway — a small thing, but it showed she was thinking like someone who genuinely cared about the house and not just checking boxes. She left everything in great shape and was communicative and warm throughout. I'd book Alex again in a heartbeat and recommend her without reservation.

Alex is an amazing dog/house sitter who I HIGHLY recommend. My dogs and I loved her as she kept their routine consistent, played with them, walked them, etc. like they are used to. Her communication is top notch and kept my mind at ease while I was away and experiencing a travel situation. Bonus: my house was nice and clean when I got home. Thank you again Alex for everything!
alex was amazing! she gave regular updates and took on any hiccups in stride. when I came to pick up my pets I could tell they were happy and cared for.
Alex was a great dog sitter! She walked the boys even when it was cold, and played with them. Her communication with me was wonderful! She sent photos and updates that made me feel relaxed while I was away! When I returned home my dogs were happy and my house clean like when I left! I do appreciate the service provided by Alex and would recommend her to others, and I will hopefully have her watch my boys again!

Schedule
I have a flexible WFH schedule, and available to be by your pets side whenever they need! I go out for frequent walks and breaks with your dogs as needed.
