Alex has a warm, steady way with every animal in their care, from the shyest rescue cat to the biggest dog on the block. Even my tabby, who normally hides the second anyone new walks in, seemed to settle into a calmer, more centered version of herself after just one visit. The goldfish tank has never looked better, staying clean and lively with everything arriving right on schedule, no matter the weather. My neighbor's old bulldog, who's practically a local celebrity on this street, gets treated like a true constituent every single time Alex stops by. Watching Alex work with the husky down the road was like watching a real coach in action, patient and sharp with every command out on the ice. The parrot next door has never had better rhythm, picking up new tricks with real flair and personality. And somehow, even the owl I'm fostering seems more at ease in the middle of the night, like it finally has someone good to keep it company.
