Bring on the dogs!
I have been taking care of dogs since I was a little kid. While I did not have a dog of my own for 20 years, I would eagerly assist my grandma in training her puppy, as well as offer to walk all of the neighborhood dogs. I have loved dogs my entire life, so much so that I now have a 5 year old Maltipoo named Peanut! Peanut is super friendly and loves to make as many friends as possible. She will be eager to have a friend over! Additionally, I used to walk dogs when I was in college and grad school. I had a mix of consistent clients, and one time clients. Many of my consistent clients additionally chose to board their dogs with me when they were going out of town.

Alex was terrific with helping out with Chewie while I was travelling for work! She was kind enough to bring her dog over to my place for a meet and greet to make sure everything was in order and sent lots of photo and video updates when she came over to feed and walk him, making sure I knew how he was doing, eating, and enjoying the day. She was so kind and sweet to work with, too, and incredibly responsive. I look forward to using her services again soon!
Alex is an amazing sitter! I have used her multiple times because I know my Sadie is in good hands when I am gone.

Schedule
I am readily available to watch dogs as I work from home! During breaks between meetings, I can take dogs for potty breaks as frequently as they need.

Safety, trust & environment
First and foremost, I will have a discussion with the client about their pets needs. I have a very dog friendly home. Additionally, we can take many walks. It is super important that I build trust with the dog because they may be nervous if they are not with their owner. Having a dog of my own has made me a very conscious person about what stays out on tables and counters. Safety is my biggest priority.
Pets
A typical day
Typically I am working between 12-8 from home! During my meetings, I try to give dogs stimulating fun through puzzles and lick mats. When I have breaks in meetings, they are focused on taking dogs on walks or cuddling! After work, we go on a long walk (if there is a bigger break during the day it will also be filled with a long walk).
