A typical day
I like to start with puppy kisses and cuddles, if the pet allows for that. Scratches and more kisses. We can go for walks and play tug o'war. If I'm coming for a drop in visit, we can go for a little walk to get some exercise, or we can just play with your toys and have a nice potty break.

Pet care experience
I AM AVAILABLE HOLIDAYS! I’m that girl who will jump over a fence to pet a dog. I’ve always loved animals and I must hug them, if they allow me to. I don’t have formal training with animals. I just love them and do whatever I can to make them happy and feel safe with me. I know how to read a room and typically when pets want space, I can pretty easily pick up on that. I will never force an animal in my space, but I will work with them until they are comfortable with me. I've never met a dog that didn't like me (not to toot my own horn). When I know there's a nervous dog or cat, I'll speak with them in a soft, calming voice so they know I'm not a threat. Long story short, I'll make sure you and your pet are comfy with me.

Alex has taken care of our dogs for over 4 years. We had 2 ailing Airedale Terriers and her ability to deal with both large dogs with care, thoroughness and gentleness exceeded our expectations. When our new Airedale puppies joined our family 2 1/2 years ago, she handled their energy and playfulness with the same professional approach as she did earlier. It's obvious that she adores dogs and will do everything necessary to care for them properly. We're so grateful for Alex!
