Hi there! Growing up, I wasn’t allowed to have pets because my family was just too busy, but that didn’t stop me from being an animal lover. I cherished every chance to treat my friends’ pets as my own, and I still do! Over the years, I’ve become the go-to sitter for many of my friends’ dogs and cats. I even volunteer to take my boss’s black lab on walks regularly. I love spending time with animals, whether it’s attending therapy dog events, cuddling with kittens at the pet store, or snapping the best photos of dogs (trust me, I have a talent for it!). While I’ve grown fond of cats—thanks to my cat-loving friends—my camera roll full of dog photos shows I’m a dog person at heart. As a college student, I know I can’t dedicate the time and care a pet deserves just yet, but when the time comes, I dream of adopting a golden retriever named Champ. Golden retrievers are goofy, friendly, and sporty—traits people often use to describe me. Eventually, I’d also love to give shelter dogs a loving home. Until then, I’d love the chance to hang out with your furry friend and provide them with the best care, attention, and love they deserve. Let’s make their time with me a tail-wagging adventure!

Alex is extremely diligent in his care of other's pets, is an excellent communicator and puts in the extra effort to engage with your pets and make them feel cared for.
I foster cats and Alex is willing to care for whatever line up I happen to have when he arrives. A pregnant cat delivered her babies while he was here and he was able to care for them even though it was not in the plan. He does a great job with communication and updates. Very reliable and trustworthy!
Came on short notice , was very kind and was excellent at communicating. Was very intuitive on caring for our older dogs needs.
Another great job by Alex. My old dog is really warmed up to him. He referred his brother as a potential back up and asked for him to tag along. His brother Sam is a great walker and my old dog warmed up to him just as quickly! Eager to book them both!

Schedule
I am currently taking a summer classes at UND which is Monday through Thursday from 9:00-12:00. There may be a few other appointments I have periodically throughout the day, but I am able to be flexible and work around your schedule to best fit your needs. Pet sitting while I’m school here in Grand Forks is a fun and enjoyable way to make some earnings towards my rent.
